A car has struck a bus shelter in Marseille in front of a KFC restaurant, resulting in a woman in her forties being killed. Earlier today, around 8.15am, the same car struck another bus shelter in the more northern part of the city, injuring a man.

The driver, a 35-year-old man from Grenoble who was already known to police for minor crimes, has been arrested in Old Port. The police have advised people to avoid this area.
